About Us

My son and I started our business in 2018. With a desire to provide excellent services and dedication to the Log home industry. After years of working in and around homes, we knew we could provide an excellent service that homeowners would be proud of.

Born in 1973 in a small village of Bosnia. My father was a construction foreman that constructed many homes buildings and religious sites throughout all of Europe. He believed in the simplicity of construction but the dedication to be progressive in an ever changing industry and new technologies that he incorporated into his construction. But he taught me all of our traditional and old world style construction techniques that has been used for centuries throughout the world. Growing up I learned that even when the work is hard tedious and time consuming. The finished product was worth the effort. In 1992 my country  was changed forever by war. It was a difficult time and life had become very hard for me and my family. And after 5 years in turmoil the war ended and  eventually brought me and my family to the United States. Thankful for the end of a tumultuous time and hopeful for a new beginning in America,my journey broadened outside of southern Europe. In 2002, I began working with wood again and my passion became renewed. My son Steven was born in 2004. And I  Wanted to instill a desire to the same dedication perseverance and knowledge of old world craftsmanship passed onto me from my father. I began working with my own properties and renovating them along with my son and my dad. Eventually I began working with log homes for a number of years. I found that all of my skills I had learned since childhood, were in very high demand. I knew over time I had to start S&E Cabin Log Home Services.
